In June
2005 the Renmark to the Border Local Action Planning Association
succeeded in sourcing funding to set up a regional libary interface
that can assist local people with sourcing information on local and
regional environmental issues. The LAP associations have over time
accumulated various plans, surveys, feasibility studies, general
government and consultant reports, Land and Water managemrent plans as
well as publications on revegetation, planting methods, species
selections and identification.
The $2500 funding grant was
sourced through a federal government grants scheme known as, Grants to
Voluntary Environment and Heritage Organisations (GVEHO) for the
purpose of making these publications more accessible to the public. As
part of this project a file attached below has been created that lists
all of the publications that the LAP holds at its local office. If any
of the publications are of interest please contact the office and
arrangements can be made to loan or purchase a copy.
